How to play Plinko

  1. Choose a bet, a risk level and the number of rows.
  2. Move over the board to aim, then click, tap or press Space to drop a ball.

Frequently asked questions

What is Plinko?

Plinko is a game where a ball is dropped from the top of a board covered in pegs. It bounces left and right on the way down and lands in one of the slots at the bottom, each with its own multiplier. The ball cannot be steered once released, so every drop is a small gamble on how the bounces fall.

Is this Plinko game really free?

Yes. You play with virtual chips that have no cash value and cannot be bought or withdrawn. If you run out, you can claim a fresh batch for free. There is no signup and nothing to download.

Is the physics real?

Every ball is simulated as a physical object: gravity, bounce, friction and collisions with the pegs, the walls and other balls. There is no pre-decided result. The payout tables are calibrated from tens of thousands of simulated drops on each board size, so the multipliers match how often each slot actually gets hit.

What do Risk and Rows change?

Rows sets how many layers of pegs the ball passes through (8 to 16). More rows spreads balls further out. Risk reshapes the payouts: Low keeps the middle slots rewarding and the edges modest, while High makes the middle slots nearly worthless and the edge slots very large.

Which risk level is best?

There is no best one. Every table is built to return the same amount on average over many drops, so the choice is about how swingy you want the ride to be. Low risk gives a steady trickle, high risk gives long quiet stretches and rare big hits.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. The board scales to your screen. Tap the board or the Drop ball button to release a ball, and turn on Auto drop to keep them coming.
